This is the guy I saw. I'm sure he knows nothing about guns. http://www.mccdc.marines.mil/Portal...t General Walsh.pdf?ver=2016-08-16-101501-733
Did you read that? He might very well know nothing about guns. He's a pilot. He probably hasn't done anything but basic qualification (if that) since boot camp 40 years ago.
The theory of it being an illegal arms deal gone bad makes more sense to me. That would explain the 23 guns and all the ammo. If it is an FBI sting, then kill the patsy and shoot at the crowd to create a diversion. IDK. Lots of theories out there. No answers.
So let me get this straight. This was all a conspiracy / set up involving the FBI, CIA or some other government spy org. They would need to bring in the casino security, Las Vegas coroners office , Las Vegas police and no one is going to leak or tell anything. In what way is that more plausible than the official story that someone just lost their marbles and shot a bunch of people?
Hey if the government can fake the moon landing and also get away with assassinating Kennedy they certainly can pull something like this off.
I believe this was actually a plotline in House of Cards at one point. I'm behind on my seasons a bit, but some friends remarked that they touched on incidents like these and even had one as part of the show, and now everyone thinks it happens all the time. Way to go Netflix.
No.. You are adding too many layers of people who are "informed"... less is more effective.. and has worked in the past... watch Sniper. There is how it works.. till it doesn't... LOL
Plausibility is not is not foremost in the conspiracy thinker's mind. It's about feeling right, with special knowledge that others can't see (among other drivers you may find interesting if you want to get in to the topic). For them, lack of evidence is evidence. Fascinating topic to look into. Michael Shermer is a great quick-start resource for how these people think.
He would be more of an expert on this shooting were he a recent bell hop in Vegas than his actual credentials. They don't mean crap in this situation.
I alternate between being impressed at the stuff they come up with, sad at the stuff they come up with, and scared that they feel the need to come up with it at all
Report I heard yesterday said, one was aimed at crowd below, the other was to shoot at the fuel containers, which he hit and penetrated by the way. Just couldn't get them to explode...
As far as the experts go, Sheriff Lombardo himself said "it doesn't make sense that he planned this all by himself. He must have had help" (sic).
.50 with incendiary... woulda maybe got it to light... he came armed light for that task with a .308 at that distance even with APR's dents were about it..
What was in the tanks? I don't know the first thing about an incendiary round but diesel fuel isn't the easiest liquid to light even with a match. It's not very volatile. Can you imagine if the tanks were full of gasoline? Could have been real ugly.
Most likely jet fuel, which is about as combustible as diesel. Fuel infrastructure is a major weak point in the US. I've long said that trrrrrrrrists could really do a lot of damage both intrinsically and economically with a widespread attack on our fuel distribution networks.
It was jet fuel.. hard but not impossible to light.. incendiary is phosphorus based and will light shit up..
