Working on a big event coming up and need a few design flyers made. I have the ideas I want, plenty of pictures, but I swear trying to figure that shit out has made me almost throw the computer through the wall. I swear next fucking computer nerd that comes in my shop is getting charged quadruple cause this shit should not be that fucking difficult.
Happy to help out. I work in InDesign and Photoshop everyday as an Art Director and work on some larger clients such as FRAM, La-Z-Boy, Ohio Lottery, Certified Angus Beef and Owens Corning. How many flyers are you needing?
Can I email you? I need 3 designed, then I'm gonna get one of those online companies to make me shit tons of copies. Lol
Post of the day right here...... I'm glad someone else is getting you fixed up. InDesign was before my time but I am fluent in Illustrator and Photoshop.
Now that's just funny. InDesign is the new stuff to me I think I started doing stuff in PageMarker 3.1
Just a FYI those online companies (VistaPrint for example) are not always the cheapest option. I always thought they were and then I needed some last minute posters for Suzuka this year....none of the online places could get them to me in time but a local printing company was able to have them done next day and still was like half the price of the online people. Support the local business if you can and it may surprise you!
Yep, we use a local place for all of our forms and things larger than we want to do on the copier. Always been priced right (better than Staples or the like) and great to work with.
FWIW, local place here did our MotoAmerica posters. Trackday rider/racer, owns a print shop. They were top notch and affordable, even adhesive-bound for tearing off.
My go-to online resource, when local print shops are too expensive, is psprint.com. Great quality and very reasonable prices. We even use them with some of our larger client work.
