    Will the first gen motors bolt into the second gen chassis?

    I imagine you would have to swap all the electronics as well.

    Asking for a friend LOL

    Yes.

    The 06-08 will for the 09-12 chassis.

    You can't swap 13-14

    I'm guessing cuz it seems like first gen stuff is available and second gen stuff seems to be hard to get a hold of, and Is over-priced.

    Should the VIN stay with the old frame or go with the motor to the new frame?
