Built this bike to try to get myself to like bigger bikes than the 450 supermoto - well guess what - I love my supermoto!!!! Absolutely nothing wrong with this bike. Tons of torque, sticks to the track like glue, and it sounds AMAZING! It is really a blast to ride. I have had it to 4 track days. I wish I could like a big bike on the track, I just don't. I have another 2008 990 on the street though! The suspension is perfectly dialed in for a 170lb rider with a Penski triple clicker and the front custom done by Fast Bike Industries. ($2,000) Motor has been upgraded with a Rottweiler air intake system and a power commander. Dyno'd by Laughgrin (Sp?) at St Bonnies at 124HP. ($1000) Has after market gear indicator ($250) Akro exhaust ($700) Has a clear MN title and plate. Race plastic only - but all the wires are there for street. Looking for $4650 as it sits or will take $3500 and I will swap all the goos suspension of the stock stuff. Oh yeah - Never raced (only tracked by a really slow guy) and I can't wheelie.
Lot of offer for trades but I would like the monies... Bike is still available Here some updated info. New Chain and Sprockets ($150) GPR Steering Dampener ($500) Yoyodyne Slipper Clutch ($750) SAS Removal with Block - off plates ($100) Secondary butterflies removed Woodcraft Upper and lower sliders ($200) RG Exhaust Sliders ($50.00) Currently has almost new Q3 Tires Looking for $4500 but can go lower if you want me to remove some aftermarket stuff for the stock stuff - We can talk.
I have a spare rear wheel, brand new, never mounted I would sell inexpensively if anyone wants it. Good Luck with the sale of your SuperDuke! I love mine.
