I'd be thoroughly impressed if his son ever got that bar to touch the ground.

Well for ET drag racing, it doesn't matter, as long as you cut a good light and can run consistent times. However, I would at least want some flat handlebars. LOL

I know a guy who did quite well drag racing a CM400 Auto.

"zx6 $54,000 new on Kawasaki's website is what a bike goes for these days.

call/ text for details. it's almost mint. I've got more pictures on my phone and the net matches the bike now. The decals are identical on the other side and the seat is new.
V6s are welcome if it has a tow hitch. 5 speed preferred"

My dad built a little 400 Hondamatic for my mom to dragrace. That lasted until he tried to get too "racer" with it. He put on a delay box and had her stage while loading up against the torque converter, with her right foot on the rear brake. He should have put on a rear handbrake. Anyway, she lost balance, or got spooked, and dumped the bike on the line, and that stopped her drag racing career.

On a 400 Hondamatic. I don't know why, but that's just so cool.

I agree. I don't remember what year it was, but I'm guessing my mom would have been in her late 50's early 60's. My dad is still drag racing a motorcycle now at 72.

It's a chinese motorcycle based around a Honda SL styled aircooled vertical single, typically pushrod. Available with a manual clutch, semi-auto or in some cases two speed 'autos'.
