So, I ordered a set of R10 Bridgestone, and a few days later I receive a set of RS10. Not the R10 I originally ordered. The order gets fixed and three more days later I receive my R10 set. As I am inspecting the tires I come across this small slit in the rear tire in which you will see in the images down below. My question is, would YOU run this at a track day that is in four days, or wait for potentially these people to fuck up a third time? Thanks in advance!

I would but I'm slow. Closer to the edge might be a different story.

Hard to tell 100% from the photos. If it is just a gouge on the surface, I'd personally have no issues with it. If it's deep enough that it might continue to deteriorate and chunk apart, then no way. At least it is in the center of the tire versus the sidewall or an edge.

After a session you won't be able to see that...

    I would run it.

that's prob shipping damage like the tire was rubbing up on something while it was bouncing down the road in the shipping truck.
i would use it. it looks superficial.
sorry your new tire isn't 100% totally new and shiny across the whole surface :):):):)

If it's not deeper that the grooves that come on the tire it's not going to hurt anything.

I'd run it. You won't even see it after 10 laps.
