Bike is very well sorted. Motor pulls strong and smooth, valves were just adjusted and motor showed >230PSI of compression.

Motor runs on 94 octane pump gas.

Only about one season since last refresh. Last refresh included rings, bearings, valve springs and new intake valves.

Compression test shows 240psi and 230psi. Bike is ready to win.

Who makes that air box shield?

I bought an airbox from speedwerks a number of years ago. I had to cut it up a fair amount to get the flatslides to fit in it. I then noticed that the box could be a bit bigger, so I took the old airbox, made a mold, added some height to it, extended down and molded better to rear cylinder. Then made a male mold, and molded it in carbon fibre, vacuum bagged it using laminating epoxy resin.

I noticed a bit more power on the top end. The airbox also reduced the noise by 3dB when measured trackside. Bike only blows 88-90dB at full chat down the front straight.
