Got an estimate of 4 gallons of paint to do the job. Plus reducer, plus clear coat, plus etc. Just the base color paint. Oh, and the base color paint is $800 per gallon.
You only need a gallon of single stage white and half a gallon of sealer Nason single stage white kit 200 Sealer with catalyst 50-80
I used to paint the bottom of a 50' trawler with two gallons of bottom paint which cost, maximum, $100 per gallon. And that was the good stuff. How thick are they laying that paint? Are they adding gelatin so it doesn't run when thy put the paint on like frosting?
I picked up a gallon of black plasti-dip to do my suburban, it was cheap. May not look the best but it looks better than rust.

Still around the same price for a red pearl single stage. Only a little bit more because red is a rarer mineral. For the toners. And use a grey sealer instead of a white sealer
