Hey guys, anyone of you had any success painting race leather boots and the boots holding the paint well?
Im trying to color match some boots to the custom suits. I will be buying new boots to do this.

Took mine to a leather "shoe" shop and they were able to dye the boots.

Yeah I can't see a paint working. Dye, yes.

I started painting on my suit last night so we'll see how it turns out. I got a couple of the Angelus acrylic leather paints. Just wondering if I need to do the finisher or not. Should have ordered it with the paint. They want about as much for shipping as for the finisher itself.

I used Angelus leather paint to clean up my gloves. they are half white and get nasty-looking after a while. they looked a lot better after 2-3 coats. that lasted about a year and now I want to do it again.
