New riders school at Grattan

I'm doing the Wera new riders school at Grattan this weekend. I've heard there has been good turnout for the new riders schools at some of the southern events so I'm hoping this will be a good sign for us in the frozen north (weather is actually supposed to be good for the weekend).

Congratulations to Matt McKibben, Jeff Phillips, and Andrew Lamoureax who all successfully completed new riders school and mock race Saturday at Grattan.

Andrew then stuck around for Sunday, practiced in the rain, raced in cold and wet to drying race conditions, and ended up on the novice podium, including a win.

Great to see you guys out there, and hope to see you at some future events (especially when it warms up a bit)!

 

Those guys sure didn't look like rookies out there. Congrats to all.

 

Hard to believe none of those guys even rode a motorcycle before the class!

 

No disrespect intended. They were going hella lot faster than I was.
