That was an excellent article! Having been a UH-60 crew chief in a former life (and having had to deal with the lowest level "VIP kit" at one point, those decked-out ones would be a goddamn maintenance nightmare. Even part of a normal UH-60 pre-flight involves dropping some access covers around the main transmission (the center of which is about ~4 feet ahead of that biggest chair) - I wonder how they got around that...
