using race fuel this year and i'm looking online to find that foil some people put under their gas tanks and on their air boxes to keep things a little cooler.

anyone have a source of this stuff?

I thought there was a company that also had a Pre cut kit too.....

I think that the cover on top would help more on the hot days but.... Its really not going to help that much though

i dont really need that as much as the bike will always be under a canopy in the shade.

For your superbikes right? Since anything other than stock wouldn't be legal in SS classes...

    it's not for LRRS either.

but putting a foil on the tank isnt SS legal? it's not modifying a tank anymore than adding something like tank grip for your legs.

Be careful, Jim. Thats not legal in ccs supersport or asra for that matter, either.

If i remember correctly, it keeps the fuel cooler which makes better power.

Tank grip I write off as part of the controls for the bike and rider comfort. The foil is a performance advantage.

    Really?

I thought any airbox modification was a no-no.

you're not modifying the air box itself. putting a film/sticker on the outside of it

I get that. Im probably making this harder than it is but deflecting heat around the airbox enabling cooler air to funnel into the engine isnt enhancing/modifying the airbox for an advantage?

Just playing devil's advocate at this point...
