http://forums.13x.com/index.php?thr...-rim-for-a-fzr-600.324818/page-2#post-4705022 I still have a set of PM chicanes for FZR 600. The front is the same as the 400. The rear is still a bolt-on replacement but with a slight difference. You have to run the 600 rotor and caliper hanger since the 600 rotor is slightly larger in diameter and mounts differently on the rim. I may have the rotor and hanger but I am not sure since I haven't looked at these wheels in a few months. Let me know if these would help.
See my classified ad under parts for pics. Willing to sell individual bits if thats what you need. I just dont want to make a career out of shipping individual crank bearings. If you still need wheels I'l see what I have.
Rulebook just says "FZR400’s may run 17” wheels." Nothing about width, so I think if it fits you can use it. V6LW is basically superbike rules so there shouldn't be a problem there.
Why not just run the stock wheel? Stick has the tires and they're good. Don't over complicate things.
I have a lathe and knowledge. It's not complicated. If there was a wheel in someones stash abailable reasonably. My lazy gene would win. For now it'll run the 18 until i make a wheel fir.
Gotcha. Slightly different from if you said you was running it (no offense). Now, The bike in stock form DOES NOT SUCK. I have raced it this way. Of course, I'm not a pointy ender, but none the less, it, and I, have moved. I'm just saying, that if push comes to shove and you can't make everything work out with the finest of details, run it stock. Stick has good tires and I've never dumped it on them. It's a good bike in stock form. Just sayin.
Speedwerks makes an awesome conversion kit that uses a 17x4.5 SV650 rear wheel. SV rear wheels are cheap and the conversion is reasonable. It's a nice clean setup and chain alignment is perfect.
