You are making a comparison that only highlights your failures, not mine.
You did do a good job at what you do so well, complain and place blame.
    tiv
You need to visit some third world countries. And, then let us re-assess your judgment. Hell, visit any country.

Of all that I can chose to believe in, why would I not chose a belief that we are best and better yet, when we do what is best for others?

There is little to decipher. All we need to do is revisit your history on the BBS.

Here is where you and I differ. I believe in helping those that cannot help themselves. You chose to make excuses for those that do not. Most of your comments here are negative, lack insight, and are absent of motivation. Well, on the motivation thing, I may be wrong. You seem pretty motivated to duped every one to share your belief in Bernie.

I maintain that I am not special. I think most of my friends feel the same. We all face challenges. We all recognize that it is about the climb. Not finding excuses to not climb.

Let me know what is not clear. I am willing to be explicit.

Come to the table with facts. You are trying to do your bullshit misdirection thing again. What proof do you have that Cheney lied and started the war for personal gain. The Democratic party lines are not facts. You are spouting opinions as facts. Cheney is not a very nice man and is likely guilty of many things we will never know about but if you want to string him up you will need more than far left opinions like yours.

He is not running because Bernie is. Next time, for sure.

Once again, you know little. You have not clue what I have and have not done other than what I say here and confirm with fact or with support by others.

You always seem to cheapen arguments.

You speak as if you have boat load of intelligence. Maybe, you are operating at your limits and that is my fault for assuming much. But my failure is evidence that you are your limits of reasoning. You spelling is superb. No need to bring out the LSAT challenge.

I never said you should enlist. I only expressed a feeling of hope that one day you will add something to the discussion other than blame. Postulate a solution for once.

Oh, and $15 an hour minimum wage is not a solution. I don't care what you or Bernie say. The fact are not with either of you.

On this day I would like to give thanks for the seemingly nonsensical posts in this thread...cuz they mean I'm spared the unquestionably nonsensical posts! :D

Hey RFKA, forgetting the no go zones that you're totally sure do not exist, how do you feel about ISIS and their existence? Do you feel that they should be eliminated or should we continue to ignore them? Remember, if we really go after them an innocent Muslim might be killed also.

Sounds reasonable. You can keep believing what you feel is ok and I'll keep believing that, in today's world, and with some questions, I'll keep the options open. :D

Even better, give thanks that you have the beeb to go to for the absolutely fantastic entertainment value that is offered. :D

  12. I have presented many solutions on here. They include: raising the minimum wage, judging people by their character instead of their color, treating Muslims with respect, accepting some Syrian refugees into the country, instituting better hiring and training practices for the police forces, mandatory body cameras for police forces, abolishing the war on drugs, quantifying how dumb Bobby the Brain is, cracking down on welfare fraud and disability fraud, being more isolationist and less hawkish in regards to foreign policy, and others that I don't remember off hand.

While we have discussed (argued?) immigration many times it's mostly been over superficial aspects of it. How about the policy of immigration itself? What are the ramifications of immigration? How will it change the direction of our country, or will it? The linked article puts some actual numbers to the question and it's kind of scary. Obviously people in need have to be assisted in any way possible, if possible, but should we gamble on the future of our way of life to help everybody that needs help? What are the positive results of immigration and are those results positive for the immigrant only or are they positive, or negative, for this country?

  14. We should concentrate on defending the homeland and limiting the power extremists have to hurt us here. I'm not sure completely eliminating ISIS is possible, and even if it was another group would pop up in its place.

Fair enough. I should mention that your guy Bernie is intent on destroying ISIS by military force if necessary. He seems to be in a long line of would-be Presidents to be on board that train.

  16. And the key part there is "if necessary." I like Bernie's attitude about the military. He's not a hawk, but he's not a pacifist either. He's also big on taking proper care of the veterans. It's a shame some of you can't get past the "socialist" label. He makes a ton of sense. I've been hearing reports lately of some republicans supporting him!

LOL, ahh, those magic words. "If necessary." You do realize that when we went into Iraq, and Vietnam for that matter, leaders felt that it was "necessary." In fact, every war we've ever been involved in was felt to be necessary. What will you think if Bernie does get elected, declares war on ISIS, only to find out later that it was completely unnecessary? Will he then become one of those tyrants that you speak of. Life is a lot more than arguments on the net. It's a very complicated set of occurrences, that are constantly changing, which makes many military/political decisions look really dumb after a few years and all the dust finally settles.

Did you get enough dead bird yesterday? Personally, I'm still suffering from all the things that I tried to eat. :)

  19. I'm not gonna get into that what if. I'll just say that Bernie's views on use of force are very similar to mine so I trust him to make the right decision. Unlike Dick and W, Bern has the best interests of the country in mind.

I've been limiting my calorie intake lately, but I made an exception yesterday and ate my fill of turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes, carrots, home made bread, and even some desert! Now I'm gonna take a long mountain bike ride to burn off that fuel.

Nice! Vague meaningless solutions with no knowledge of current practices, no plan for implementation and associated costs or any understanding of unintended consequences. Typical libtard "solution". You need to implement all of these policies to see what is in them, right?
Still waiting on some sort of evidence that Evil Dick lied and started a war just to fill his pockets though. Could it be that you are just running on emotion and have no facts to back up your beliefs?
