I purchased a brand new 2013 Honda CBR250R in January 2013. The bike had one mile on it and now has 522 miles on it, all of which are track miles. I have the title in my name and all the original parts to go with the bike if you ever wanted to put it back on the street. This is what has been done to the bike: Fully safety wired Keyless ignition Keyless gas cap Forks - Race tech internals by Thermosman Shock - JRI by Thermosman Sharkskinz bodywork Leo Vince full system Bazzaz ZFI + Quick shifter Lightened rear rotor Wood Craft clipons Wood Craft rear sets Sato Racing swingarm spools Non O-ring chain Yoshimura frame sliders Yoshimura timing cover plugs Stainless braided front brake hose Steering damper Stomp grips Dunlop unbeaten 02 tires 90* valve stems Spare parts: Set of wheels Front and (3) rear rotors (one spare rear rotor is also lightened, the other two are OEM) Wood Craft rear sets Wood Craft clipons Oil filters Fuel filters Brake levers Clutch levers I still have every OEM part that I have replaced. All the stock parts go with the bike too! Body work Rear sets Clipons Exhaust Fork internals Shock etc... $3500 Located 15 minutes from NJMP Delivery within 200 miles available for an additional charge. The bike has been down once. I dropped the bike on the left side and the clutch lever, slider and tail took a hit. I repaired the damage but the tail still needs to be touched up with paint. The only things not included are the GoPro, tire warmers, bike stands, and transponder.
If you are starting out in road racing this kind of bike you should buy. I bought a CBR250 off this site 2 years ago to endurance race and have had a ton of fun on it. It doesn't eat tires like a 600, it improves your cornering skills and if you change the oil often...it may never wear out. parillaguy
^Thanks. Even if you're not starting out in road racing this bike can teach you a lot, and it's tons of fun. This would be perfect for someone for the upcoming Jennings GP 250 endurance race. Fill the gas tank, set your tire pressures and GO!
Whoops, I deleted all the pictures and can't edit the post. Here are some pictures of the bike again.
How does the CBR do against the Kawasaki , Yamaha and the KTM in the races. Is it as fast or slower. I am looking to get into racing the small cc motorcycles.
