Just got this bike about a week ago....

Bike started fine when I bought it.
As I was bringing the bike home on the trailer, it rained really hard for about 15-20 minutes of the drive. Got home unloaded off the trailer, rode it down the street and back, pulled in the garage...it died and will not start.

    Here is what I know:
Fuel pump does not come on when the key is turned on.
No spark to any of the plugs.
Cannot get a code to display in "dealer mode." Only reads CHEC

Checked all relays, fuses, sensors, switches. According to the service manual they are all working properly. Continuity, voltage etc. Plus I switched the ones I could from my SV for verification.

    All electrical connections are tight.

    Battery is fully charged.

The motor turns over, just no fuel or spark.

The only thing I can think of is that it's related to the heavy rain I encountered on the way home. Like a short or something but I can't find it.

Just wondering if anyone has encountered similar. Fried the ECM maybe???

This could be a silly question, but how is your kickstand?

Check the crank sensor, I think the bike won't crank at all with the kickstand down, or a faulty kickstand position sensor

    Sounds like kill switch issue.
