And at this point I would politely tell you that your financial situation is not my problem and I would reiterate my top offer.
Another person who is so intent on talking about themselves they do not take the time to read the question, let alone comprehend it.
Excuse me Mr. Squid but nowhere in my WERA or CMRA rulebooks does it state that I have to be able to read much less comprehend the written word. And I can talk about me all day, I am my favorite person.
Sorry to respond so late ism, but straight off my website, "2004 CRF50's $1080 plus tax" In KY, that's %6, $50 doc fee, so $1194.80 Out the Door for WERA guys. Got more than 20 in stock now. Let me know. Later, MB
How do you offer them for so cheap? Are margins different for every dealer or are the dealers up here just not willing to bargain?
I might be able to answer. Margins should be the same for all dealers. He's just figured out that he can bring in more money selling in quantity. Now if only my bosses would figure that out.
So, where do you ride the 100's? I am in western hills, xr100 motarded out ready and waiting, and not being able to ride because of the weather is killing me!
Bingo Talbott. It's sad to say, but there is NO money to be made on CRF/XR50's and 70's. However, you can make money on the accessories that usually accompany a childs first bike. In my opinion, which doesn't count for much , I would rather sale the small bikes at cost and gain a future customer than get into a pissing match over $70 profit. I may be wrong, but it seems to be working so far. Later, MB
CincyKid, Haven't set up or been to any motards yet, not enough time. I help a few guys out around here who do the flat track stuff. I suck at it, but get better with beer Later, MB
No, Sir, you are exactly right. I'm still trying to convince my bosses that I can make five sales making 1/5th of the profit on each unit (plus all of the accessories), while thay wait to make one sale making all of the profit on that unit. You guys don't need a Rune, do you?
Rune!!!!, Sore subject here. I sold both of mine to the same "friend" within two weeks only to have $50,000 in checks bounce! It was totally my fault for trusting someone I thought I knew. It took 3 weeks and threats of jail time to get my money, which I finally did. Two weeks ago got a call from the same guy wanting to know if I wanted to buy one back for $18,500. I told him I'd write him a check Needless to say, I don't have any now and I'm not looking for any. Not much market for them in Central KY. How many you got left? Later, MB
So in other words the dealer we went to is making about $266 on those bikes. Not exactly a lot I guess.
