He just posted this on Facebook (translated). Farewell Cal?

Seems more hopeful than an announcement. If Cal leaves I hope gets a shot

He's hands down the best Ducati rider since that Stoner kid. It's a no brainer.

I hope with all my soul that "I need a factory bike" Crybaby Cal leaves and the new engine and chassis combo is awesome.

How's that for irony? He should take a page from Nicky's book.

Amen. I honestly think Crutchlow should start making some friends with the front running teams in WSBK because he's running out of bridges to burn in the MotoGP paddock.

didn't cal say that it's better to be in 6th in motogp than 1st in WSBK? i think he'd try and stay in GP as long as he can.

i think ducati will be at the top again, it's just taking time. they've been through a lot of changes all across the company and things just need to settle down into a rhythm. of course, in this world we want things done yesterday so it seems like it's taking forever, but i'm sure they're not sitting on their asses. ducati will figure it out. i'm hopeful. ianonne would be an awesome edition to the factory team. i've always liked him.

well Ducati has made some progress...but they are also receiving benefits from being a real factory non-factory team. If they had to have the same rules as the factory squads, not sure how much progress they have really made.

I read the rumors of a possible Cal to Repsol Honda. Esplezetta needs a front running Brit!

A Honda production racer may be his last remaining option in MotoGP soon enough :D

  20. Yea, I definitely had a good chuckle at Soup's Cal to Repsol article.
