Vintage yamaha paint schemes

I'm to the point with my XS850 cafe project that I need to start putting a color/paint scheme together.

I know about the bumblebee


And the similar Anniversary paint


What are some other vintage yamaha paint schemes? It's a cafe, so just the tank & tail to add color.

 

I like this...

 

Something in Yamaha blue.

 

That's the direction I'm leaning.

 

This was an RD350 that I redid. The blue was Dodge Viper Blue from Dupont. Decals were my design from Tapeworks; back before Kruzel was in business.

A couple of my favorites:

 

I only remember them on Yamaha TZs. Chris Taylor, Chris D'Allusio, Colin Edwards, Danny Walker.

 

My fzr400/600 looks close to the bumblebees.I love that scheme!!!!
