RIP Tom Laughlin, aka Billy Jack.

I'm old enough that I saw this movie in the theatre when it was released.

My favorite quote was when Billy Jack said to Posner:

I'm going to take this right foot, and I'm going to whop you on that side of your face. And you wanna' know something? There's not a damn thing you're going to be able to do about it.

    Well damn.

I saw it when it originally came out too. I can remember every kid from school was waiting in line at the local theater when it came out. If you didn't see this movie then you weren't hip, because it was all that everybody talked about for weeks.

Truth is, The Born Losers is probably more fun to watch than Billy Jack.

My favorite line was when the hippy chick came home after being gone for the weekend, she told her dad (who I think was a deputy), "dad, I got balled by so many guys that I don't know if the kid is going to be white, black, red yellow blah, blah". Of course he beat the shit out of her after that (not cool).

It made a big impression on a 13 year old at the time.
