I've never been banned. None of these schmucks have the stones to.

There was the time on the NEAR List when a famous superbike racer from Massachusetts demanded that I ban myself (The Moderator) for calling him "fucking stupid" and suggesting that "he didn't even know he was an asshole".

Mongo and the rest of the denizens tore him to shreds.

I got banned once, for posting a spoiler. People were all kinds of mad.

Vella had the most usernames. The last thread he posted in had at least four, and he thought he was being slick by having them talk to each other.

 

I think 4-5 times for me, really cant remember. One of them was legit for a political comment; I remember that one. Not sure about the other ones. One of them had no explaination from Mongo other than "...because it made me giggle like a school girl". I was like WTF?

As previously stated, it takes a lot to get banned from here (a legit banning, not just for their entertainment). That is why i like this forum more than any others. You can say what you think. I can type faster than i can think and it has gotten me in trouble in other places because i type it as it "comes out"...which is why my posts "sound" just like i talk (for lack of a better description). Here, you can say what you want, how you want to say it (or however it just comes out). You wont be banned for disagreeing or even being stupid. But the stupid is forever as you cant go back and edit the stupid once you have settled down and thought about it...which is sometimes worse than being banned.

 

Pretty sure "they" ban people sometimes just to see how other people react. The job doesn't pay well.
