I was just thinking that 3000 years ago, that would have probably started a new religion. Some bearded old guy would have claimed that it was some god expressing his displeasure about something people did, and that he had new instructions for us all on how to behave and what to believe.

 

Pfffft! Just wait for what the 700 Club or the Westboro baptists have to say...

I was thinking the same thing this morning after hearing about it. I then flipped from the news over to the science channel and bam, they are airing a show talking of people in the past seeing comets and meteors as signs from a god to do whatever.

 

But the Siberian defense system they found failed

Somebody in Russia was obviously trying to pass off Chiffon margarine as butter.
