Crockpot shredded chicken tacos. House is smelling good.

 

Onion soup, baked potatoes with all the stuff (for the women in the house, not me), and pimiento-cheese (many of you from the South will be nodding here... those from the North, think of it as beer cheese with crackers).

 

Nah ... You can do what you want with the cheese. It's the onion soup that you lost me on. Need some heartier for a Super Bowl meal.

 

Homemade vodka/tonics.

 

This is some pretty hefty onion soup - started with a brisket from a few days back, took the stock from that and using six pounds of onions, it's making 4 quarts of soup. That's a pretty hefty reduction

 

This just made me hungry, I'm going the Chili route.

 

I just grilled 10 brats and 8 chicken thighs. Not for the game but for lunch next week.
