Because we live in a country where individuals are valued but not (supposed to be) subject to the tyranny of the majority? Because the Dems don't require adherence to irrelevant religious dogma for participation? How horrible!

Good on Paul Ryan for castigating their removing it from their platform and furthering his image of religious nutter, though.

Where do rights come from? Rights not laws.

It has to be from an authority higher than you and I.

If not, are we under the rule of anarchy?

If we are under the rule of anarchy, it would be wise for people to not interact, as offending ones peace could be subject to severe ramifications on the offensive party with no recourse from society.

What is tyranny? Not the legal definition, your perception.

    What say you?

Rights are moral concepts.. they come from the mind. Are you asking what justifies them.. or certain ones from others?
    Why?
Not if we have a government to protect our individual rights.
Anarchy is the most heinous form of collectivism that many libertarians attempt to dress up as freedom. Anarchy results in the destruction of freedom and the proliferation of mob-rule.
Easy. It's any political system that doesn't recognize individual rights which includes the right to property which is a direct corollary of the right to life. In my opinion, a tyrannical government is primed to be overthrown by force and, ethically speaking, should be.

Having a separation between church and state doesn't exclude a belief in God.

It must be a rounding error (very optimistic). It also manifested itself in the computation of the 4.5 Million jobs.

That's simple. Tyranny is when someone, through organized threat, and acts, of violence, takes control of those anarchists and forces them do his bidding. The end result is basically the same as anarchy except it's no longer unorganized and it's no longer called anarchy.

With the Dems running things it is easy to see why our country is in decline.

They must learn to do there corruption better. That must have a Chicago vote.
