Corrupt Go-Pro vid of crash.

Does anyone know how to play this vid? The go-pro was turned off while recording and I can't view it. Anyone know how? I found some info on it but it is farrrr to techi for me.

 

I've done it twice after crashes.

When you boot it up, do you get the "SOS"? If so, press the shutter button and let it do its thing.

If you don't get the SOS, it can be recovered on a computer. Done it both ways.

 

How on the computer?

 

AVS Video Editor/Remaker can play it and "fix" the file by re-encoding it. VLC should be able to play it fine.

 

Just tried downloading it. Says file format error.

 

What is "it"?
