well.... kinda :P http://www.crash.net/motogp/news/179726/1/suzuki-powered_crt_for_indy_motogp.html seems like a cool project. the billet frame is interesting. hope it can shake up some established crt's cheers.joe.
I wonder who they'll pick to ride it (Mladin )? Is Rapp going to be healthy in time to test, tweak and be ready to ride the Attack team's entry?
I will take it........Glad to see Suzuki doing something in MotoGP. As for Attack, I am pulling for them to do well at the American round. Oh, and they are not letting Mladin anywhere near the Suzuki........dude is wayyyyy out of shape. He can probably ride circles around 90 percent of people that ride but that is not going to cut it at the MotoGP level.
Great news for the Indy round. Think of hoped/thought that Yosh would have been interested in providing engines/R&D to the project.
Because it is easier to make the framespars to the headstock out of billet, rather than form, shape the spar. The frame is made up of about 15 billet pieces. You put them all together like a lego kit and find the best welder you can get and spend a few days melting metal to keep it all together. (I think that "other" team is doing something similar). Good riding talent associated with our project - I'll let any of them chime in if they want to. Thanks for the encouragement I'm happy to comment on the project and answer questions as we move along.
Easier to manufacure on a small scale than castings and forming? Edit: I was too slow on the keyboard....
This was my point. Vesrah doesn't need motor build support from Yosh because Mark already builds awesome motors that make HP and last.
He must have learned a thing or two in those years of endurance racing. Those bikes just never failed them.
