I whoops-tested the left-side GB Racing stator cover protector yesterday at NJMP. The S1000RR slid about 100' on the cover and frame slider. The GB Racing cover wore through, and will be replaced, but the OEM (read: very expen$ive) stator cover was undamaged. No oil got spilled in the making of this dramatic test.


For reference, the OEM Stator cover and must-replace mounting hardware would have cost almost $300 to replace. That is IF the cover, which is as strong as stiff Jell-O, hadn't caved in around the spinning stator.

I am very happy that I had replaced the junk R&G Racing faux-carbon covers with the GB Racing covers lust the week before. The R&G Covers splintered in the cold while stored in my trailer (!) over the winter. Thanks to TJ for the GB Racing Protection set.

They do go over OEM covers. We sell them as complete side cover kits.

 

I emailed about these awhile back but it might have been lost in hyperspace.

I got a bike not so common... but what could you do on a complete kit for a 08Suzuki B-King shipped to 35906?

I'm pretty sure GB offers sliders for the bike but not sure about all the covers?

I should Google some info myself eh? lol
