i finally got around to cutting, grinding and welding on a spare frame i've had lying around the garage. i weighed the remains and it was just under 3 pounds of scrap that came off, granted, i still have a couple pieces of bracing to weld back in.

i wish i had thought to weigh it before hand so i could see the exact amount of difference when i'm done.

You know what you need to make that thing lighter?

A salad. Eat one once in a while

It won't matter - moohoo ahh ha ha ha (in my most diabolical and sinister laugh).

Did you get the original front peg mounts (those things weigh a ton) and all those stinkin tabs? A lot can come off, but stiffening welds and bracing puts a bunch back. Jenny Craig might help!!!

frames are frames- what matters is what it weighs after its ready to race and on the grid....

  18. Who has a CB350 I can try out? I have always wanted to ride or race one of those. I'll trade for a session or race. Any takers?

You're welcome to take a hit on mine in practice if you want, Brian. We'll be at Nashville in two weeks. It ain't no V1 bike, but she's fun for a little GP bike.
