It has been sunny for like 4 days straight and there was no rain in sight or even called for (that i know of). I just washed the truck and it was sunny without a cloud in sight. I came inside, made a pb&j, sat down and it got dark and started thundering....and now it is raining.
Hell, it's been raining here in southwest OHIO non-stop. Average April rainfall is 3". We've gotten over 10" this month so far and gonna get 2-4 more in the next few days.... Killin' my racing funds by not working....I'm in the concrete biz....rain shuts me down....so does snow....cold temps....hot temps....extreme wind conditions... Hell, I just realized I have a part time career.
The Mississippi River in Memphis has been at flood stage for a couple weeks now. That is a LOT of water. Its about 1/2 mile wide at Memphis.
