I did a search on here and didn't come up with anything.

    Here's the situation: (Track)
    1) We are not able to remap ecu's (stock mapping).
    2) There are no dyno's here in Costa Rica.
    3) Need to be at MAX 98 dbls at 1/3 throttle.

Ok I've got an 09' 600rr with a full Akra. race system.
Is there any benefits to running with the baffle out on stock mapping or is it better to keep it in?
I found HUGE write up on backpressure

But nothing really on Baffle in or out?

Probably best to throw the stock exhaust back on. Bike wont have a problem with sound and will likely make more power. Baffles don't make much of a difference when properly mapped, can't see them making much of a difference when not.

Unfortunately we can't map our ecu's but everyone here manages..... I guess when given lemons try making lemonade hahaha.....
Even though we can't remap no one runs stock... and I'm pretty sure from what I've seen I have to say theres more benefits of a full unmapped exhaust then keeping the stocker on other then weight.... I believe we all run lean and less smoother curves but these suckers are still fast.....

So there's really no difference in keeping the baffle in or out for me....
Just wondering because the bike passes with both.
But if you had to choose keep her in or out?
    Thanks

racepro171 to finish first, first you must finish!

baffle in would create more back pressure, no?? little richer running?
