Thanks, bike is starting to show a bit of wear on the swing arm and a little area on the frame, really need to spray or powder coat the frame/swing arm so it looks factory fresh again, for a 22 yr old bike it looks decent....
Finally got my bike to Costa Rica after 2 1/2 months wait. Here are some pre-decal shots and some quick shots we took yesterday with the decals(Store shots taken with shitty camera). My 1992 Katana 400 (jap model) with a 1340 big papa Yosh motor. Custom frame, swingarm (99 gsxr750 upside down) 2007 Gsxr 1000 front end, one off pipe, earls oil cooler, custom thumb brake .......It runs great and it's tiny....
Aren't those 05/06 forks with the red/violet adjusters? 07/08 have blue adjusters. Oh yeah, nice bike too.
My 1990 FZR 400 that was a race bike. Hey Jim, I'd like to hear about your rear wheel and swingarm setup.
Just got the racebike all back together for the season, shook er down at Mid-Oh sat. She's ready for racin!
Somewhat. Last year or two. Bike now has R6 brakes, new fairing stay, Bridgestones, steering damper. Why do you ask?
Nice 400 man Story with the swingarm is that I thought I was buying a 1WG or 3TJ but thats what came in the mail. I wasnt aware that there was a braced version, but they came on the 3EN1 model in 1988. Its a bit heavier than the other 400 swingarms but still a few pounds lighter than the 600 since its still alumnium. The wheelbase is the same as any other 400 model. I did have to fab a mount/arm to hold the rear brake in place(used a stock dogbone). Looks cool anyway  Rear wheel is the stock 18er w/Bridgestone 090
