I like it, Ben spies new helmet scheme looks sick, not a fan of his choice of glove colour though, but i'll let that one slide

 

Spies looks like a Teenager.

 

Nice to see that he's picked up Monster as a personal sponsor.

Damn! Didn't notice the Akrapovic on Jorge's bike. I would say Potts is right.

 

Crazy, world champ and no huge sponsor plastered on the side?! If Ben picked up Monster and I read that Lorenzo picked up Rockstar but there's nothing on these bikes?

 

Yeah the color of Ben's gloves are awful. Personally I like the look of the bike without the big logo on the side.

A title sponsor doesn't even begin to cover the costs of running the team for a year. I'm sure they want the money but I doubt they NEED the money.

Edit: except in the case of Ducati. I'd wager they turn a profit (or close to it) with their MotoGP team. Well, until Rossi showed. lol!

 

I like the gloves, not so sure on the bikes though. Looks kind of like a cheap motorcycle toy.

 

I wonder with it being the 50th year...that without a title sponsor they can do some really interesting throwback paint jobs, and really connect with fans.

They can make the whole season about Yamaha.

 

The blue is cool but to me, a yamaha retro paint scheme is Yellow and black.

Or if Roberts is involved, either Lucky Strike or Marlboro.

 

Roberts bumble bee is kewl, but I dig the red/white/black speed block

 

Finally a Yamaha that looks the part, as for Spies looks like he lost something in the airplane toilet, gloves not so much.

 

I like Jorge's number plate with a subtle "JL"

 

Yellow/black was Yamaha US, Europe was always red/white, then somewhere it all went blue/white.

I have a yellow/black one.... :up:
