for a lexus, heck any car worth anything, get some HRE's http://www.hrewheels.com/ those companies in the OP, i would not touch. Also on a slightly cheaper level, some BBS, or iForged
Didn't read this 'til just now. Damn, I missed my opportunity. And thems some fugly rims, vance. However, stupid money is defined by how appreciative she will be after they are on the car.
I had 20" Axis Shines on my 08 Acura TL and they looked nice...not a big fan of rims myself but gotten a great deal on them so i just jumped on it
In her defense, assuming they are the one's i am thinking of, the stockers on those sc430's are horrible, they are truly one of the few cars I think look better with the right aftermarket wheels. (IMHO of course)
You're correct. That car is completely ruined solely by it's atrocious factory wheels. Wheels in OP look HEAVY and will detract a lot of class from that car. AKA ghetto it up. Tuner style wheels might work but don't go too big or it'll look goofy if it's not lowered. I dig those HRE's
Tell her that you get BST's for the bike if she gets wheels for the car. If you have more than one bike you may be able to make the "you got 4 rims so I'm getting 4 rims" argument...
Can't expect much from her, she did marry ME. She's legally blind, that's how I snagged her. BST...on a 25 yr old ex500.... I would settle for some late 90's zx wheels.
Chickened out on backhanding her. She's a doc, I'll die in my sleep and it will look like an accident.
Hit up www.discountedwheelwarehouse.com I got the Escalade's wheels and tires from there. They have good prices and they will mount and balance the tires on the wheels and ship them to you so you just have to install them.
Call Brian Hayes at Brian's Motorsports. He is a former WERA racer and will take good care of you. Briansmotorsports.net.
not for nothing, they have a lot of cheaply made wheels on that site. you can also look at good ol' tirerack.com for wheels and tire combo. Get the HREs with a 3-4" lip in the rear and the car will look great..
