looking for 1993 tz 250 fork bushings. race-tech has the lower, ordered but not in yet. seals are easy to find but i can't seem to find the upper fork bushings. can someone point me in the right direction? thanks
If or when you run out of options, most fork bushings are very, very similar so you can use an ex250 fork bushing in your similarly sized forks etc. Give a call to Dan Kyle or Jim Lindleman regarding these options if you can't get what you need. It should also be mentioned that Accu-Products has a large supply of old and new TZ parts. He may have what you're looking for as well. Peter
thanks for all the help. lindeman engineering had worked the forks a few years ago but didn't respond to e-mail. they may take an extended time off during the holidays. i did get a part number from the tz250racing site though and will pursue that direction. thanks again for the help. bruce
i didn't want to post up until i had the parts in hand but 98-01 r1 and 2005 r6 are the models. racetech lists the upper as 41x12x1.5 but no part number. this is the correct size. yamaha part number 4xv-23135-00-00. the lower i was sent from racetech is 41x20x2. not correct! loose in the fork. the yamaha part number for the lower is 4xv-23125-00-00. i have no measurement nor have recieved the parts yet. i'll post again when i have the correct stuff. thanks again
upper bushing is 41mm id 12mm height 1.5mm thick yamaha part #4xv-23135-00-00 lower bushing is 41mm id 8mm height 2.5mm thick yamaha part #4xv-23125-00-00. 98-01 yamaha r1 is the easier way to order. i went through ron ayers but your local dealer should be able to order if you happen to decide to freshen up the forks yourself. thanks for pointing me in the right direction!
