Check out the picture of the rear brake caliper hanger! :wow: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/2000...2064384?pt=US_motorcycles&hash=item4aa7290980
I laugh now but I actually did that the first time I ever put a rear wheel back on my first bike.:wow:
Can I watch while someone hits the brake? You won't need to worry about bleeding that line after that
Someone from the "beeb" in Scottsdale, Arizona should go over there and check it out first hand and meet the owner and report the experience back to us!
I once ended up stuffing the rear disc between the metal side of the brake pads and the piston after replacing the rear wheel, because I was too lazy/stupid to take off the caliper first or verify it was in correctly. Then I took it and rode it at the big track at Willow Springs for 2 days worth of track time in a row..... Long story short, I rush back to Johnson and Wood in NoHo for a new caliper, then blow out a tire on the van on the way back, in the middle of the High Desert, and miss getting to Johnson and Wood before they closed. I finally got back the next day and managed to put in all of 10 laps.
Please....Shervin would not half ass it like this guy did. Shervin would have cut a notch in the swingarm so the caliper and bracket could spin through.
I've seen this one on the Phoenix CL for a while now. maybe I'll cruise up and actually see it in person. FYI I just picked up a 94 ZX7 ex-racebike off CL for $350. Needs quite a bit of work but I've wanted to build up a mid 90's ZX7 for a while now. I've had them in the past and I know what big fat, slow pigs they are...
