i'm picking up an rc51 and it doesn't have anything on it. I'm coming off a daytona 675 and it had stomp grip. Stomp grip seems a little trashy after a few years as it gets dirt and crap under it.

Whats your preference on the 2? I don't think tech spec has a direct fitment for the rc but the universal should work.

I sent in a template to TechSpec for my RC51, they made them and shipped to me super fast.

How much did they charge you for the custom TechSpecs?

Tanktredz. they're a little-known secret but better than either tech spec or stomp grip IMO. check them out at www.tanktredz.com

No matter what you use think about custom cutting it to fit your riding style. Both Stomp and Tech. came too close to the seat for me and found I had to open my legs WAY up to release to move side to side. I use about a 5"x4" piece now near the front of the tank where my knees sit for braking grip only.

Stomps for me, whatever you get do good prep before you install them to prevent issue down the road.

It's a rubber step grip w/ adhesive backing. It works just as good as the $40 stomp/tech grips.

    It works for me.

    GixxerBlade Oh geez

I just may go to WalMart and pick some up. Then again I may go with nothing at all. I haven't decided.
