Putnam June 12-13

Who's all going?

I'm in for both days. Last time out there with Cycle Options was a total wash and crash weekend. Sunday after lunch , sliding feet first on your stomach going into turn 5 in the wet is an experience. All but maybe 11 people had gone home by then so no one was trying to run me over lol.

I am signed up for beginner for Sunday... Praying for good weather... My "1st trackday" was the very soggy Cycle Option Sunday... After I finally got to get on the track after lunch... I was all over the place... My visor was fogged up and I was terrified after seeing soo many people go down... I made one lap and loaded the bike on the trailer. So hoping that this day turns out much better!!!

Couldn't make any of the other Nesba dates due to work & family vacation conflicts!!!

Looking forward to meeting all of you!!!!

Nope....I plan on setting it up at Putnam on Saturday sometime.

I have 4-5 trackdays, and a a 3 day race weekend starting about a week and a half after this, so I think i'll be fine :P

its gonna be very hot, heat index of 96 on sunday

 

Any tips/tricks on keeping cool.. other than keeping hydrated???

 

fans, under armour heat gear, bananas to keep from cramping etc..

 

water, shade, and a fan would be helpful this weekend.
