    Hey guys,

I removed the compression valves from the axle clamps in my forks only to later realize that they're different. Are the valves left or right specific? If so, please enlighten me. I don't remember which valve came out of which fork.

If anyone has a service manual, I'm sure the answer is in there.

Sorry looking for an answer similar, service manual does not touch on any compression valves. I know this was a while ago but hope you got it figured out. Did you by chance take any pictures of the valves when they were removed?

why not just go to a website with microfiche like RonAyers.com and look up your parts.. I have a site like that on my "favorites" tab for situations just like this. If the right/left fork leg part #'s in question are the same there is no issue about r/l.

The microfiche doesn't break down the compression valves that i know of. have looked at the yamaha one and also looked through the service manual.
