I'd love to see a TV series about this guy's company. Doubt they could show much of it, however. http://www.airspacemag.com/history-of-flight/Grab-the-Airplane-and-Go.html
I did see a show about high priced repo stuff. Can't remember on what though. But I remember them getting a huge boat out of a guys slip next to his house in Miami and they got a plane (I think it was a cirrus) from a dude while he was at a resturaunt during a day trip. They followed him in another airplane and when the FBO took him to eat they snagged the plane.
After scoring one in Italy, Nick set his sights on another known to frequent Paris’ Charles de Gaulle airport. He found it at Terminal 1, neatly surrounded by orange cones to prevent access.
when he gives you his business card it reads "I"ll call you" really one of the best marketing campaigns for beer ever IMHO
I like him. He's the kind of guy that's the basis for a series of action novels. Clive Cussler or Tom Clancy could do a series based on him and his cohorts without much effort. (even if neither actually writes the books published under their names, anymore)
I love the last line in the article because let me tell you... he's the ONLY man in aviation with job security! I'd say those guys deserves it though. The amount of knowledge and savvy you have to posses to do what they do is phenomenal. Not to mention the danger of hopping into a plane that's being operated by some foreign airline that's having financial trouble. No thanks...
Good to read this discussion here. I would like share one of my favourite TV show, it is "Destroyed in seconds" some of them episode is simply mind blowing, I catch it in Yahoo 7 as well. How very tiny things like bees and all can be the cause of plane crash.......Love this show.
