How do I respond? Show me an unedited video tape as proof that this interview happened and I'll respond. Until then I think it's a total fabrication to garner support for the Iraq Peace Team.

 

Ok, then show me " unedited proof" that we bombed neighborhoods because there were wepons there or it was accidental. Show me more proof there are no alterior motives in this "war". American media doesn't conjour up or modify stories to gain support for a cause?...."We know the truth, but prefer lies. Lies are simple, simple is bliss."

 

Has it been proven that the bombing of the market was via US bombs and not an Iraqi anti aricraft missile coming home? The crater is aweful shallow to be a US iron bomb crater.

Do civilians die in war? Yes. But innocent Iraqi's died in horrific manners under Saddam. You should read about some of his "methods". Maybe then you'll stop pussy footing around about this guy.

Are there alterior motives for the war, probably so with some of the people involved. Nothing new in that.

I just do not believe the story you posted. I'll continue to say it's Bullsh@t until I see proof. Sounds way too contrived to not be a work.

My problem with these types of sites is that they are so one-sided that they lose their credibility, at least in my view. Things are not so black and white as they are painted.

 

People with the courage of their convictions post those convictions under their real name, stand proud behind those convictions, and don't hide behind BBS names.

If so, what's the percentage of your posts directly concerning motorcycles and motorcycle racing, vs. posts taking great issue with anyone and everyone having anything to do with the U.S. government?

And your claims regarding the media are based on what evidence?

Your posts have crossed the line here, with your allegations regarding targeting and motives.

Have you considered:

A: Finding a BBS that has nothing to do with motorcycles and motorcycle racing?

B: Moving to a country more to your liking?

I suggest any country in the middle east, since they all have such a high tolerance for dissent.

Edub, he's got a daughter in the military. I don't know if she is in Iraq, but she is serving her country and putting her life on the line. I can't speak for John, nor would I want to, but if my daughter was serving I'd make sure to punch you in the eye. Well, maybe not punch you but I'd be burning inside.

As for your accusations in your last post, I'd strongly reconsider leaving the post up. John is a stand up guy (in an industry that is cut throat) and your post may have crossed the line.

Tracing around the people behind your post I find that Nigel Parry is affiliated with the Iraq Peace Team, one of whose members is activist Ellen Barfield. Here's an idea of how she thinks. She's also involved in the movement to "abolish corporate personhood".

To answer your question, considering the source I find zero credibility in the article.

You have witnessed the BBS version of "Shock and Awe". Day One was a flurry of "decapitation" posts tageting the leadership (Bush), followed up with a general scorched earth campaign against anything Republican or conservative, with the exception of Saddam Hussein ("Radical Dude").
All of his posts (and those of Chuck's, for that matter) seem to me to be motivated by an extreme dislike for George Bush. For this reason I cannot attach much validity to anything he has to say.
