BMW S1000RR demo bike at BMW Atlanta

in case anyone wants to check out the bike, now is your chance

The bike has all the bells and whistles as options too

I still think I'd rather have an R1 and $4K to play with

 

Did you ride it? If you did, your mind on the R1 should be changed IMHO. My Roomate has the '09 R1 and its like a slow turd compared with the BMW out of the box.

Most Dealers in the US should have their Demobike by now, they need to have 2500miles on it before they can sell it....

Teach just ran his on the Dyno and got 180 bone stock.....id take that over a R1 any day

 

Like I said, R1 plus $4K! Slow turd, I don't think so. The guy told me 3500 miles.

 

I rode one a couple of weeks ago at the new Ducati BMW dealer in Chattanooga.

It's okay for an inline 4...
