I wanted to beg someone to let me try, but doing it in front of the audience had me skeered. It looked like fun. Next time, I'll be sure to find the JD.
i ride my yzf pig all the time on the street. it doesnt help fulfill my riding needs, but it does save me a lot of gas and miles on my truck
I don't think anyone has ever fulfilled their riding needs on one of those. [This message has been edited by Tracee Polcin (edited 03-02-2001).]
In theory I still ride on the street... but my milage has dropped about 90% since I started racing. My problem is that I'm an addict and can't bear to sell my damn streetbikes. I'm afraid I'd miss them - Roach
im with roach on this one....that scares me [This message has been edited by stickboy274 (edited 03-03-2001).]
I still like to ride on the street but out of town. Just picked up the new gixxer 1000 and have to say this one would scare me on the track!! Way to fast!! I will just cruize it around on the street and have a little fun. I do have to say street riding doesn't compare to the track for adrenaline value, but it is nice to go for a sunday ride on the off weekends of racing.
I have street bikes that I mainly take to the dragstrip (Hyabusa"s)(ZX12)to get practices leaving the line, but I do cruise around town every now and then.
I love riding the street and would never give-it-up! Of course, I've never crashed either, been very lucky in my 95,000 miles on my Kaw 600 Eliminator. Kepp the rubber on the ground and enjoy!
