    Hi everybody,
I am going to buy a merchesini mag wheels for a 2009 R1, but the dealer told me that the wheels come without bearing and spacers, so, I would like to know if I could use the OEM bearings and spacers??
The dealer wants to make an extra charge for $100 bucks for the bearings..
is it just bolt on and go or I need to buy special parts for the wheels??

    I need help......

    G2G I feel the need

I would have them press the bearings and spacers in the rims. That way if they mess them up they pay for new bearings or rims.

Funny all of my Marchesini's have bearings and spacer's in them. Sounds like it was a Demo wheel?

The stock rear sprocket carrier will not work, you need to use the Marchesini sprocket carrier and you will have to use Marchesini fitment rear sprockets as well.

They must be used, because they always come complete.
Only Ebay clowns sell wheels without bearings and spacers.

    Order them from TAW.

Here's a question for you, I've heard varying answers though. Do the OEM rear wheel bearing for an K5 gsxr1000 work for the marchesini mag rear for the K5 gsxr1000. Obviously the inner race is going to be the same diameter since it accept the rear axle, but does anyone know if the outer race is the same diameter?

I just checked my rear Marchesini wheel and it feels like it's got some side to side slop so the bearings need to be chucked and I have a spare set of OEM suzuki bearings lying around so it would be great if they swap right in

    ???
