Home cure for killer earache?

My ear is stuck and needs to pop. Can't get it to no matter what I try and it's really starting to hurt. Feels like I have a tennis ball wedged in there. Any cures?

 

Nylon tube sock full of table salt between said ear and pillow. Lay on it for a while and the salt will draw out any moisture. You will get some salt in the bed, no biggie.

 

Several possible causes... Did you fly or visit high altitudes recently? Had a cold recently. Water sports or diving?

Ear infections are nothing to screw around with and some are very resistant to meds. See a Doc of the pain increases or does not subside withing 48 hours max.

 

Or my personal favorite...

 

I use stuff called Swim-EAR whenever I have issues. You can get it at any grocery store or pharmacy.

 

Hold your mouth and nose closed when you sneeze.

 

Close your mouth and pinch your nose (while trying to blow air out your nose) to equalize the pressure. If it's an infection you're going to want to see a Doc.

 

hot olive oil on a q-tip, stick it in gently, the warm oil will dislodge and melt the wax down a bit and then it'll fall out on its own.

when my ears get stopped up a few drops of bleach always works

 

It's not bleach!

Household remedy is Hydrogen Peroxide. Two drops only.

 

There are those Candles that you can get that you put in your ear, light the end it draws out the wax into the candle it works very well might have to do it a few time.

A Country store usually has theme.

 

I don't think SoCal has 'Country stores' besides I hear once you start using those things it's like heated clothing or the cryrollcrackpoor, (Chiropractor)...your stuck with it.
