Bacon!!!!!

So............ how long will bacon survive the freezer?

i have 2 packs of bacon that says 2006 as an expiration date.,...there's no way it's been in the freezer that long.

Anyway, I wonder if i can eat it, and not get sick/die?

What's the worst that can happen

thread jack----> this past Friday I sprained my foot (didn't know you could do that ) and had some Tylenol pills at work. They expired in 05. I tossed them and got some new. :up:

 

If was vacuum packed I'm sure it's fine. Isn't the expiration date usually for nonfrozen bacon?

Assuming you cook it properly, it won't kill you, but I am guessing after 3 years in a freezer, it will taste more like freezer burned crap than pork products.

You don't have $4 to go buy a new pound of bacon, T?

Where ya been, T? Oh yeah, toss the bacon, it will taste nasty.

 

Thawed the bacon, figured it be ok too, didn't smell too hot, looked ok while frozen, but I had to toss it.

yes I do but it looked ok, and i WAS surprised that it had been in there that long.

 

is there such a thing as "bad bacon"?

Foots good. walked VIR for 3 days only issue was me being fat and out of shape. Time to do cardio and lay off the cheeseburgers.

 

I still have corn in the freezer from 1982. We finished up the stuff from the late 70s last year.

 

Iron stomach
