    Launch control is outlawed this year. Pedrosa's advantage off the line is mainly due to him being the smallest rider on the grid. Less weight means a big acceleration advantage when starting from a dead stop. His weight is also a big advantage when driving out of slow corners.

    Yes, mine says it is in daytona (Comcast on west coast)...I assume it is from Laguna, but have no idea...

    Yep, same thing here. I've got Comcast. I set it to record anyway. Hopefully it'll be the Laguna Races...

    The AMA stuff was the support races for MotoGP this year at Laguna. The 250 and 125 GP bikes didn't make the Laguna round.

    I know, but I thought Speed was going to start showing the AMA races as same day delay starting with the Laguna races?

    Yup its on for me in 30mins. Verizon FiOS says "Laguna Seca" for both hours.

    Boring race. I did get a little excited during the last lap though. Very happy for Nicky! Hopefully this is a sign of things to come. If he can run top 7 for the rest of the season, I don't see why he wouldn't be riding for them next year. I guess it really depends on how Kallio does in comparison to Nicky for the rest of the season.

    I thought I noticed Rossi wearing SPY sunglasses after the race. What happened to the Imatra sunglass company he owned?

    The Lawnmower Factory must be Sooooo Happy...

    So the score is:

    Yamaha: 5

    Ducati: 2

    Lawnmower Factory: 1

    At this rate Pedbot / LMF could win 2 races this year.... :moon:
