I run rotella in my 450 mx bike, and it seemed to hold up better than the stuff my suzuki shop suggested, which was "motorcycle oil" So i'm curious if anyone is running it in their race bikes... I've got gallons of it for my F250, figured i'd give it a shot, anyone have previous expierence on this subject?
I use Rotella T Synth... no idea if it's "better" or not, but the bike seems to shift well and pull strong.
How many are using white vs. blue jug... i searched after the fact, seemed split on who's using what...
The blue jug is synthetic... it's what I've been using in my 2006 gsxr 600 street/track/race bike for 25k miles now.
Blue T-synth is all I've used in my dirt, street, and racebikes for five years. I change after every second race weekend. Never had any sort of problem, no clutch slip, no metal in the oil, no burnt smell. Oh, and I use it in the Powerstroke, too.
I used to run Mobil 1 MX4T 10w40 and my bike didn't shift the best. I switched to Rotella blue jug and it was a little better. Now I run Mobil 1 red cap 15W50 and it shifts great. I use rotella in my mowers and junker work truck.
