Damn it, who wants an R1 with all the coolest shit? Ill trade it for a GSXR. This blows, I know I took a risk, but contingency was the only reason I bought and built and 08 Yamaha. With my tire deal and Michelin's awesome contingency Ill be chasing tire money instead of Yamaha money. or  cant tell yet.

wow...........thats a huge drop..........riding a Yamaha this year in Expert would be kind of silly when Kawasaki and Suzuki have MUCH better payouts

although from what Ive heard the US is the place that has contingency payouts........most other series in the world rely on series sponsors for cash payouts.......

wow hopefully suzuki keeps it rolling like last year. Kawi has def the best contingency out there. I heard its well more distributed with better payout to all top 5. errrr....

It could be worse. Yamaha hasn't paid ANY contingency in Canada for the last several years. Either at the club or at the National level.

The other 3 are prety generous up here though, with Honda (if you get in on the red rider program) pays a bundle.
