So I work at a steel foundry and we get a magazine called "Modern Casting". It's just a basic industry magazine that highlights interesting things that other ferrous and non ferrous foundries are doing domestically and abroad. I saw this article about motorcycle rims and laughed when I saw who the company was who hired this foundry to engineer the rims. I thought of the Durrani rims thread and thought people might like to check this out. Unfortunately it does not give a release date... The quality of the scan is shitty at best...this is a 40 year old foundry so the scanner is not the most technologically advanced piece of kit ever invented; sorry about that. http://www.moderncasting.com/images/stories/issuearchive/august08/innosaug08.pdf Fixed....thanks.
I think this is a bit easier to read. http://www.moderncasting.com/images/stories/issuearchive/august08/innosaug08.pdf
Articles like this are enough to make me put the bear down, and come out of the jungle, machete in hand!
Cliff's notes version: design.....fail design.....fail design.....fail design.....fail design.....fail design.....success (manufacturing the rims...not success in bringing them to market)
No, that guy is Vince. I think this guy is from an Australian kids show. Can't remember the name, kids are older now.
LMAO... birds of a feather... "DatuMag Inc. in Mississauga Ontario Canada will officially start production in September 2007... blah blah blah blah blah....". http://www.datumag.com/
