Sounds like a zoo is going to happen, I'll be going here instead.
Sleep in my own bed, 25 mile drive from my house, $35 for a weekend pass and Diane won't be bored. A no brainer.

I don't give much creedence to weather reports one week out. What is the Silo Pete rule on this? :D

Well, first you have to make sure all reports come from the same source for comparison.

I tend to go with noaa.gov, they're pretty close that far out - although this week, too much hurricane stuff to know for sure what will happen.

The indy site is kinda weak with info. Do you NEED a parking pass or is there a general (walk 100 miles) parking area? Never been to Indy area before.... and trying to get my stuff sorted out.

    TIA

    I'm in.....

From the B-more area should drive through the night. I'd like to be there friday morning.
Bringing my son. Not even 2 yet and he will already been to a MX de Nations and MotoGP race.

As far as parking people let you park in their yards for $5-$20 depending on loction to the track. That is what I mostly do.

parking should not be an issue. if you are on a bike make sure to being something toput under the stand as I can just about bet you will be in grass. also, for those wanting to check out the area, avoid 38th street. bad area! I recomend downtown and broad ripple. the cops get to take the cars home with them so you will see a shit house of them around too. overall, they are pretty cool, and know that everyone os there to have fun.

Decided due to work related issues to take a truck instead of riding.

Is it worth the effort to carry a scooter or a bike? We are staying less than 1 1/2 miles from the track.

    TIA

    Are we there yet
