We plan on taking scooters to go from the hotel to the brickyard and the dirt track. Who knows if Indiana has a helmet law??
Paddock Penthouse and general-admission. Four in my group and will be staying at the Westin downtown. Good times!!
I've been asked if I know her or am related many many times. I have found out that I work with someone who is related to her but no we're not even related at all. lol
Ima goin'...don't know the details yet. What happened to Jackie? Is this Rodger? I can't find any info on it...
I'll be there. Fly in Friday early afternoon, fly back Monday. Not sure about seats I didn't buy the tickets and staying at a friends house. Holla at cha boy
Sounds like a zoo is going to happen, I'll be going here instead. Sleep in my own bed, 25 mile drive from my house, $35 for a weekend pass and Diane won't be bored. A no brainer.
BTW, Section 2, Row 23 for the Mile. A trusted source says KRSR may do a lap or two on the 1975 TZ-engined demon. :wow: -jim

What is the Silo Pete rule on this?
Well, first you have to make sure all reports come from the same source for comparison. I tend to go with noaa.gov, they're pretty close that far out - although this week, too much hurricane stuff to know for sure what will happen.
The indy site is kinda weak with info. Do you NEED a parking pass or is there a general (walk 100 miles) parking area? Never been to Indy area before.... and trying to get my stuff sorted out. TIA
I'm in..... From the B-more area should drive through the night. I'd like to be there friday morning. Bringing my son. Not even 2 yet and he will already been to a MX de Nations and MotoGP race. As far as parking people let you park in their yards for $5-$20 depending on loction to the track. That is what I mostly do.
parking should not be an issue. if you are on a bike make sure to being something toput under the stand as I can just about bet you will be in grass. also, for those wanting to check out the area, avoid 38th street. bad area! I recomend downtown and broad ripple. the cops get to take the cars home with them so you will see a shit house of them around too. overall, they are pretty cool, and know that everyone os there to have fun.
Decided due to work related issues to take a truck instead of riding. Is it worth the effort to carry a scooter or a bike? We are staying less than 1 1/2 miles from the track. TIA Are we there yet
